“The first time I took the NCLEX, I thought I had prepared myself in every way possible. So when I found out I failed, I felt so defeated. I had a really hard time coping with my failure and I let it bring me down to a dark place mentally and emotionally. I found out about Rachell Allen and decided to enroll... I was still down and ashamed due to failing the test. My heart was closed, my thoughts were negative... "this is lame", "this is repetitive", "why do we have to be cheerful and talk to our neighbors and play games?".... etc. Since I was so closed off, I didn't take away as much as I could have... including confidence in myself. So a few more months went by and I kept rescheduling my second exam. I noticed that Rachell Allen was coming back to town. I decided to enroll once again and take my second exam soon after. I knew then that I would not learn and grow during Rachell Allen as I needed to if I did not open my heart and invest myself fully in the process... So this time... I tried to be early every day, I sat in the front row, I tried to be the loudest and goofiest during the games and exercises, and I opened my heart to receive not only the nursing material but the motivational messages as well. And with every day that went by, I felt less shame about my failure and more confidence about my future. I left that time feeling excited and ready to pass my NCLEX-RN exam. And one week later I PASSED! Take away: When you attend the Rachell Allen review, let go of your pride, open your heart, and trust the process. You will gain not only knowledge, but confidence and belief in yourself! When I did this it even showed on the outside. My pictures look so different between my first review and second review! “With God and my faith in the Rachell Allen team I found out I passed my boards on July 19,2019, a date that will forever be seared into my memory. Here’s my story and journey 9 1/2 yrs later after graduating nursing school. I sat for my boards and I could literally hear my heart beat through the noise canceling headphones at the test center, as certain questions came up I would start to panic but I would hear the coaches’ voice in my head saying “stop, take a breath and refocus. So I did just that, I would close my eyes and see the material on our Rachell Allen packets, then at question 85 my computer shut down and my heart dropped. On July 19th at 5 a.m. I woke up to find out I passed my boards. A beautiful day it was. My dream as a young girl had fiiiiinally came true and I have God, the Rachell Allen team my husband for his undying support and my good friend from nursing school who introduced me to Rachell Allen to thank for that. I will forever be grateful for everything Rachell Allen has taught me. So for anyone who has took the board multiple times or even just once and failed I can’t not express enough how much you should put side that fear and put your faith in the Rachell Allen team you won’t regret it!! I waited almost 10yrs to take my boards.... 10yrs that’s a DECADE!!! But because of Rachell Allen, God and using my abilities that Rachell Allen taught me I was able to over my fears and now my dream is becoming a nurse is reality. Next is my RN, and guess what..... Yup, you guessed it I will be attending another Rachell Allen bootcamp when it’s time to sit for my RN boards.
