Plastic Bread tags, bottle top lids, small pieces collected on beach walks ......what the hell do we do with all those small bits?! . Of course reducing use is best, but it’s not always reality so here are a couple of tips to help you out. . In Oz you can collect the plastic bits in a larger plastic container & add them to your kerbside plastic recycling bin. Containing them like this stops them from jamming up the machines at the recycling centre. I grabbed this milk bottle from work as we don’t drink milk & it sits under our sink ready for anything small. . As for beer bottle lids they can be collected in a tin & then squished shut so none escape & added to your kerbside bin! These fellows sit proudly side by side under our sink. As always check what your local council does.
