Got imbalances in leg strength? Let’s find out! In this little leg circuit, you’ll be utilizing your stabilizers, strength, and coordination to get the whole motion down. While doing all of the above, it’s a great fat burner as well! To get started, you’re going to want to find a platform and a weight. For the platform, you can use anything that increases in height, I’m using blocks here. For the weight, I recommend a medicine ball, jumping with a solid dumbbell is gonna be less forgiving when you mess up! From your starting position, you’re doing to drop down for a push up onto your prop. From here, lunge one leg forward. This is where the magic happens, with that same leg you’ve lunged forward, you’re going to shift all your body weight there and explode up onto your platform. Each side counts as one rep! If this is too easy, there’s two ways to make this more challenging, find a heavier weight or increase the height of your platform! If you’ve never done an explosive isolating exercise before, you’ll be surprised to see what imbalances you may have. Personally, I found my left leg to be weaker than the right! Time to work on my weaknesses!
