"Have you all tried this?” @xojunexo wants answers Results equal to a leading prescription for lines and wrinkles.* #FreshPressed #Retinol #Clinique #parabenfree #fragrancefree #happyskin *12-week clinical study using Vitamin C 10% in AM and Vitamin A (Retinol) in PM, vs. nighttime use of a leading prescription ingredient.
As an aesthetician these are the things I look for while buying skin care product. It is very important that the products we buy show effective results or it will just be waste of money. So let’s start with the list.
1.As we all know Salicylic acid also know as the skin saviour belongs in the BHA family. This is a super ingredient that everyone can add in their skin care, especially people who break out a lot. Some of the benefits of using this face wash are: ❤️ it exfoliate the dead skin cell but also unclogs pores and has antibacterial properties which makes it suitable for people with acne prone skin. ❤️* it is a very hard working active ingredients (salicylic acid) as it penetrates deep into the pores and dissolve the hard sebum which causes large pores and acne.
2. Vitamin c : It boosts collagen production so as we grow older and get more and more exposed to the sun our skin start to lose collagen, Vitamin c helps to boots our skins collagen production to give us more firmer, plum and smooth skin. It has antioxidant properties which helps to fight any damage caused by uv radiation which results in us looking more younger. vitamin c also inhibited melanin production for even and bright skin tone, great for hyperpigmentation
3. Reitnol: 1. Anti ageing; helps to prevent the fine lines and wrinkles by producing and maintaining collagen which is responsible for our skins strength and elasticity. Retinol helps to slow down the breakdown of collagen and stabilise our cells which helps to slow down the process of aging.
It also Helps to treat and prevent acne. It works in cellular level. It helps to remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin which helps to prevent them building up with in hair follicles. By doing this they don’t only unclog pores but also allow other skincare products to penetrate and work better. It helps with our skin complexion. As we grow old our skin cells doesn’t turnover or renew as quickly as it did when we were younger so by adding retinol you are making sure that the dead skin cells don’t pile up and breaks down more rapidly and get new skin cells which is equivalent to brighter looking skin.

-
It also increases proliferation of blood vessels- hence the term “retinoid glow” or “wow, look at your glowing skin”

pigmentation
-
⏰ Best applied: At night

If you know a little about me you know that this moisturizer #katesomervillegiftedme is my dream product.
I love Vitamin C like cooked food & I think Retinol makes the world go around so...this nighttime moisturizer by @katesomervilleskincare IS EVERYTHING.
I was so eager to try this and boy was it worth it.
First off kudos are in order for the creative minds at Kate Somerville. They spent a year figuring out how to make this formula work.
They’ve created a dream team mix of retinol, vitamin c, and hyaluronic acid.
Everything we need.
So besides this being a great idea in theory-what they’ve accomplished as far as I am concerned is real skincare magic.
I absolutely love this moisturizer and will buy it myself when I run out period.
I started out cautiously using this a few times a week and then every other night. But I think some people are going to be comfortable using this nightly. I always start slowly and ramp up use-then look for signs of trouble. I didn’t experience dryness or any irritation whatsoever.
+Retinol Vitamin C Moisturizer is at @ultabeauty and for the love of GOD give it a try if you are insane about Retinol & Vitamin C like me! It’s hydrating, brightening, and firming. Everything this girl wants!

Let's talk #retinol. We've perfected the science behind it for our Retinol Youth Renewal Serum (the #1 retinol product in the U.S.!), which has up to 250% more renewing power than traditional retinol, yet is gentle enough for sensitive skin. Or as one Sephora.com reviewer put it:
.
"The sorcery is real with this one! I've spent a lot of money on skin care. A lot. A lotttttt. Never-have-I-EVER used a product that changed my entire skin like this did! I will never stop repurchasing this. EVER. My pores & forehead lines are completely non existent now. HOLY GRAIL."
