Six years ago, I was out of a job. I’ll never forget the day I sat down and made a list of the things I desired to have in a career. They were: to be able to travel Australia and the world, to never have a capped income, to have flexible hours and my hope was that if I ever had a family I could be a full time Mum and still earn a solid income. This is ultimately why I chose to become a Wedding Photographer. Wedding Photography gave me the opportunity to fulfil the things I desired to have. Realistically, I had nothing to lose, at the time I was all but broke. This was not the most typical way to chose a career path but it worked for me. I probably got a bit lucky that I have achieved all those things (except the kids) and have had a great time doing it but I’ll never deny it hasn’t been a hard slog either. Into my seventh year I’m still going to new places. Last weekend, out the back of Deniliquin, I took it all in. The light, the dust, the love and the memories. Look | Up Size matters when you’re exploring the Yarrangobilly region in the #kosciuszkonationalpark ⛰ @marinacalin snapped this fantastic shot of these towering rock formations while out on a hike during a recent visit to the area. The Yarrangobilly region is full of great outdoor adventures, including hikes, exploring the Yarrangobilly Caves on a guided tour and be sure not to miss the thermal pool where the temperature is naturally heated at a toasty 27 degrees Celsius year-round. You can also stay overnight in the area at the historic Yarrangobilly Caves House.
