Now that Ole has been announced as permanent manager this is my predicted lineup for next season. Considering our recent defensive struggles a central defender is almost certain and since there’s been lots of rumors circulating Koulibaly I’m going with him. Dalot should be a given in the Starting XI as well in my opinion, he has been playing great for us especially in big games such as vs PSG where he won us the penalty on such we win the game. Also he can actually cross unlike someone else... As for why I chose Bruno Fernandes, apparently Ole has told Woodward that he needs to sign a top class midfielder and imo Bruno fits that description. This season he has played 43 games in which he scored 24 goals and assisted 14. Considering his young age of 24 I really think we should sign him. Now, Rabiot is on an expiring contract ending this summer which means we can get him for free which is amazing, but so is Herrera and I think we should focus on getting Herrera a new contract before Rabiot. Herrera is so passionate and fighting for us every single game so I would hate if we lost him. If we do get Herrera a new contract though and still have some money left we should definitely get Rabiot. Sancho is a must buy isn’t he? Only 19 years of age and performing amazing each game for Dortmund. He is a right winger, which is another one of those positions we’re lacking in, with Mata and Lingard being our only naturals in the position. I don’t think I have to tell you why I wouldn’t prefer Mata starting but I just feel like Lingard is more of a sub than a starting player week in week out, unpopular opinion. So far this season Sancho has got himself 9 goals and 17 assists in 35 games across all competitions. All this would be quite expensive though but I dont see why that would be a problem if we sell Sanchez, Valencia and Rojo.
