Creamery Boutique Ice Cream @creamery_sg once again treats us with an amazing seasonal menu!
Definitely need to try out the Sakura Rose Lava Cookie, which is always pleasing not only to our eyes and so worth for the gram, it taste really good as well! Love the warm, buttery cookie and the pinkish-white lava that oozes out when the ice cream was purposely placed atop! Oh, and don’t miss out on the piece of edible preserved Sakura flower!
Speaking of ice cream: Wafu Ice Cream and Baa Baa Black Seed Ice Cream will make you indecisive. Trust us, both are really awesome! The black sesame taste is surprisingly strong and concentrated! But our love for wasabi eventually led us to choosing the Wafu - Wasabi & Tofu
As for the drink in the last photo, you can find a Sakura flower frozen in an ice cube, along with peach pieces and puree and will with soda. Pretty and perfect thirst quencher!

A quaint dessert café has quietly opened in Jurong East and has recently received much fanfare from many. With a limited selection of cakes to choose from, you can be assured of its quality control and each order will come plated individually. The popular choices are the Dale ($8) and Puck ($8) with the former especially appealing to matcha lovers. With a buttery cookie-like base, the tower is constructed with matcha sponge with hidden surprises of matcha mousse and passionfruit to contrast the bitterness. The finishing touch of dusting the tower with more matcha powder elevates the bittersweet flavour further. For fans of chocolate, there’s the Puck cake which is shaped to resemble a hockey puck, made from a cookie crumble, dark chocolate with an additional touch of sea salt to bring out the flavours more.

A traditional kueh shop located at East Village, @kueh_ho_jiak is run by Ms. Elizabeth. Her family recipes have been handed down for three generations. From speaking with her, I could tell how much care she and her team put into their handcrafted kuehs. They also constantly try to innovate and create new flavours to their selection, such as the strawberry and pandan puteri ayu.

Even though their profit margin isn’t high, Kueh Ho Jiak is committed to use the best ingredients without artificial colorings. After seeing them put so much care into their craft, I sincerely hope that they’d succeed in the competitive F&B industry. Here are some of the kuehs that we tried:
