Cheers to Sunday! This is my last day of work before vacation!! The last few weeks have been quite packed from a work perspective. With summer, work usually slows down as families are traveling or more focused on being outdoors than projects inside. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ I am thankful that so many people have wanted to take control of the chaos in their homes - maybe it helps to deal with the chaos of kids during the summer This mom of an almost 4 yr old and 6 yr old gets that!! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This week I’ve worked with some new clients and got to work with some of my regular clients focusing on big projects or touch ups to keep things running smoothly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One client I have been working with over the past year said to me “I have a love/hate relationship with you. You are like my personal trainer. I strongly encourage keeping your entryway up-to-date with current activities. Try to avoid using the space for less frequently used and or if season items. I just switched out: school back packs heavier coats boots And made room and a specific home for: ☀️ sunscreen swim gear ‍♀️ pool towels When our space is clear, current and clearly labeled it makes exiting and entering the house way less chaotic! Before I skim the pages of this new book I picked up at the library on my lunch break, I wanted to share something. ⁣ ⁣ Last night, I came across an instagram account about home organization that caught my eye. Tuesday Tip! Summer is full of adventures for us. Going from here to there with pool gear, sand buckets and snacks- lots and lots of snacks! Every mom knows you don’t want to be caught without snacks! With all this stuff, the back seat of our car can become a hot mess! I often get the question about keeping the car organized. I like to use the time when I am waiting at the gas pump ⛽️ to do a sweep of the back seat tossing any trash and gathering any items that don’t need to be in the car. The important part is not to toss the bag of said items into your garage when you get home. Try really hard to get them in the house and to their rightful home ‍♀️ I’ve cleaned a lot of garages that have had bags of car stuff stacked up.
