Hey all, I want to come on and speak super candidly and honestly with you about the lash delay and just everything in general. They will be arriving to me this week and shipping out to you. As I’ve said, I changed the packaging which caused the first delay but they’ve been pushed back a few times now for a few reasons- I did a back order because the reason everything sold out and caused this drought in the first place is that I was wildly unprepared for the reception of them. On the last batch, my order numbers jumped from like #00050 to #00400 something overnight. I definitely thought it would take at least six months to get to the point where products turn around so quickly. I am so beyond grateful for that, and it feels nice to have people excited for something, but it’s been very overwhelming. This new order was super large and on the backend of it I have had to restock my original order placed TWICE. Because of this, my manufacturer ran out of the base material I use for my finish and was then waiting on their end to restock THAT, so they can produce the lashes.
Long story short, there are a lot of moving parts here and just me managing them all. I still take clients all day, 5 days a week, I reply to all of my messages, I post content and run the store and website, etc. and I’m not whining about that. I’m very happy to be living out a dream career here and would never change it. But I’m learning how to do everything too. And I totally thought I would have a little more time and room for error in taking on this new endeavor. I’m doing my best and all that I can to make everything run smoothly because I’m a control freak and it’s frustrating the hell out of me too.
I appreciate your patience and support. I’m a super introverted person and I hate attention, lol. It’s such a weird thing to be so thankful for something but also so overwhelmed by it. I’ve definitely learned my lesson and learned the numbers we are looking at going forward.
