When the @SLCCWhistler was being built in 2007, a black bear and her cub ambled through the front entrance and had a good look around. Their presence was cause not for panic, but for celebration. The 7 indicates a brief pause (technically known as a 'glottal stop') between syllables. National Indigenous Peoples Day is in a week and @SLCCWhistler is celebrating by hosting hourly guided tours, a morning smudging, cultural sharing, an afternoon forest walk, and a variety of craft activities throughout day - all by donation!
