The 14th game completed this year, this is Until Dawn. Now, normally I'm not a huge fan of horror games, but this choose-your own adventure game intrigued me at launch, enough for me to buy it when it was on sale for $20 a few months later. It has sat in the backlog since then. . . Que last weekend when my husband had a birthday party with a large amount of people over at the house. I also had my best friend in from Indy and the two of us being more introverts, we left the entertaining to the husband and retreated to my game room. She's a big fan of horror, so between that and the alcohol, Until Dawn seemed like the perfect game to try out. Add in a 3rd friend as a tie breaker for choices and we were on our way. . . This one is definitely worth a playthrough, I can see why it was such a hit when released. The cast is great....you are sure to love some while hating others, the choices are interesting, and the story does a good job of holding it all together. Just be sure to go in blind....not knowing which character can die when makes every choice that much more terrifying. . . 4 out of 8 made it out alive on our playthrough. I blame a couple of deaths on my usually playing these types of games on Xbox, and still confusing the circle and square buttons.
