For a glimpse into the inner-workings of my brain, please refer to my last post. As I said, I like to make a lil something with pattern pieces to see how they work together. Because then I can quickly look at it and see how I feel randomly throughout the day. Not just during quiet-house computer time. Liking aspects of it, not liking other aspects, things I’d want to change for the pattern. The thing that bothered me the most was every time I looked at it I thought it was too yellowy. I knew I wanted to add a cool color to the pattern, and refine the background color. I also knew I wanted to add onions. Love onions. I think I’ll call this pattern Guacamole Grove. Is that too corny? Or just corny enough?
