Mein Sarah Ballkleid ... uff, war das ne Menge Arbeit. Angefangen hat das Ganze mit einer fixen Idee à la "Es wäre doch toll, wenn ...". Dass diese Wunschvorstellung von @mephycat bekräftigt wird, hat mich natürlich nicht vernünftig werden lassen. XD Besonders Februar und März waren Dank Uniarbeit und Cosplay super anstrengend für mich, aber ich habe es tatsächlich pünktlich zur LBM geschafft. Die Spitze und die Scherpe werden noch ersetzt (sofern die richtige Spitze je ankommt...). Vor der Con war ich mir noch etwas unsicher, ob das alles zusammen gut und nach Sarah aussieht, aber auf der Con habe ich mich immer wohler gefühlt und bin eigentlich ganz zufrieden mit dem Cosplay und mir. Wen es interessiert: in das Cosplay sind knapp 140 Stunden Arbeit geflossen. Ich bin aber auch eine langsame Näherin und musste mehrere Probeschnitte und Tellerröcke für das Cosplay nähen! XD (Zwei Unterröcke, einen Satinrock, einen Rockdummy und zwei Organzaröcke, von denen ich einen verschnitten habe. Meine Resonanz nach dem Rock? NIE WIEDER ORGANZA! Der Stoff ist so eine schlimme Zicke ey!) Im Endeffekt bin ich aber sehr stolz mich an dieses Cosplay gewagt zu haben und mir damit eins von zwei Traumcosplays erfüllt zu haben. Ich danke absolut jedem, der sich mein Gemecker angehört hat und mir Tipps gegeben hat. So klein der Tipp manchmal schien, so sehr hat er mir zum Teil geholfen! Der größte Dank geht natürlich an meine Schwester, die mit mir zusammen beraten hat, wie ich weiter vorgehe und mir stets mit Tat und Rat zur Seite stand. This performance was for me a dream and a goal for the past two years. And this was accomplished and turned out to be even better than I could have imagined. So after forever i decided to finally share some Sarah content! I was always hesitant because the pictures are less then ideal to introduce a new cosplay- i didn’t have my hoopskirt with me and when i look at them i can see the exhaustion of shooting this at night after being snow white for 10 hours straight at comic con berlin (i even wore her makeup for the TdV shoot). But @amy_bastos did such s good job taking those that it would be a shame not to share them! One day i want to reshoot that dress with better preparation and more energy (and maybe a full group).
