We would like to thank the Jameel Arts Centre for all the support they have given to UAE Unlimited this last month with their exhibition "Tashweesh". A panel discussion with Laura Metzler, Tor Seidal and Zara Mahmood took place on 16th April and then a workshop with Zara Mahmood on 20th April. All this whilst the Jameel Prize was being awarded and they had a Youth Takeover. Our thanks to Fady Jameel and Antonia Carver for bringing more vibrancy into the UAE art scene.

We received a gracious visit from the amazing Christine Marcel, Curator of Centre Pompidou, and the last Venice Biennale 2017, Loic Le Gall and Nicolas Guesserand both also from Centre Pompidou. Plus images of Diana Bettencourt guiding a group around "Fabricted Fractures" at Concrete, Munira Al Sayegh with HH Sh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Shilpa Gupta with her gallerist Lorenzo of Gallerie Continua.

Maraya Art Centre is pleased to announce the opening of Tashweesh: Material Noise, The fifth annual exhibition commissioned by UAE Unlimited on Saturday, 2 March at 5:00 p.m.
The exhibition will be the second partnership between UAE Unlimited and Maraya Art Centre and is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development. The exhibition, curated by Maraya Art Centre curator Laura Metzler, will run until 25 May, 2019 and features new works by 6 UAE-based artists as well as a new multi-media installation by guest artist and mentor Nujoom Al Ghanem who will be representing the UAE at the 2019 Venice Biennial.
