This thrifted vanity & dresser are a killer combo ✨ @atomickats has the loveliest home full of colourful, vintage treasures! I think vanities should make a comeback. There’s something special about not putting on your makeup in close proximity to a toilet (for those of you who, like me, do their makeup in the bathroom ) But truly - there’s something magical and habitually comforting about having a little beautifying space that is entirely your own. Goodwill credenza has a new spot in the nursery. Sharing my home with my little people is such a gift. I’ve always dreamed of being a mama, and although I don’t share them on here that much, they are my heart and soul❤️ But I also see the value in having my own interests, hobbies and life apart from them and not getting completely “lost” in motherhood, ya know? And speaking of..my husband and I are headed to Tulum this weekend and the kids are staying with my parents. We are so excited to spend time together!!! Anyone else been? The bentwood rattan footstool I found at a local thrift shop for $3. The velvet pink chair I found off of Facebook marketplace ($30 for the pair, yes I have two! ☺️). All of the books on the shelves were thrifted over time and is still a growing collection, a lot are also vintage and ranged in price from .25 to $2.00. All of the crocheted throws were thrifted except two (the top left chevron I bought from an IG shop and the daisy one on the far right middle was gifted from my husband one Christmas), and ranged in price from $2-$10. Also have to say that our wood mantle and shelves were free as we found them on our property!”- @quail.avenue
