I'm very proud of this job, it was an awesome team work ! I never thought I'd do timber framing in my first year of apprenticeship. It was a very nice experience and I hope to do it again !

Bosch sent to me their 12V cordless planer, here's what I think of it ! . . Ok, I only worked 2-3 days but this little guy appear to be very useful. The run time is correct for a 2.0 12V batterie, but can be largely expend with a 6.0. I used it on 2X4-6 and BC fir and it worked perfectly. Obviously don't put the planer on the maximum height (5/64) or it will stall or go really slow. . . What I like the most about this tool is that it's super compact and lightweight ! It fit in my left pouch and I can carry it everywhere. . . This tool is that it's like an iPad. As long as you don't have one you don't care about it. But at the moment you get one you just can't work without it ( ok it's a bit exaggerated but you got the idea ) . . Do you use hand planer or corded/cordless planer in your jobsite or workshop ? Cutting with the super sasquatch from Skilsaw is always exciting, but when you're using it to cut a 10x10 beam ! Now it's something ! . . I can't tell enough, I'm a huge fan of Skilsaw. They made some really good quality tools especially all their magnesium line up. . . This beam saw is no exception and I love using it at its full potential ! Smooth and precise, of I could use it everyday I would be the happiest man in the world ! . . And you do you ever used beam saw like this one or the Makita ?

The 5 in 1 ! More like 6 in 1 in my case ! . . I really like this Occidental leather tool holder, it's so week made and quickly take the form of your tools. It totally helped me to replace my right side pouch.
