Why do we eat meat? It’s a habit. Habit that came from our childhood, and we didn’t become conscious yet. I don’t blame you, I only became conscious 10 years ago. Animals have emotions. They could be as happy and as sad as we are. They have affections and feel sadness when their loved ones die. They are kind to us. How do we treat them? We eat them. Deep in heart, do we really think that is what they deserve? What is meat? It’s a fried dead corpse of an animal. Animal that used to breath, love and enjoy life. Do we have a right to stop that life? Why do we think corpses could be healthy? How it differentiate us from cannibals? Give yourself an honest answer. Think Parrot is not different to a chicken. We don’t eat parrots because we think it’s cruel, they are too beautiful to be eaten. What about other birds? What defines which ones should be killed and eaten? Their colour of feathers? Dog is not different to a cow. Cows are intelligent and kind. How do we see a cow? As a beef. How to stop cruelty? I know it might be hard to abandon your habits, but trust me your senses would sharpen after you stop eating meat. Suddenly you would feel and sense more. Deep fried aubergine with arborio rice or spicy udon noodles with grilled vegetables could taste as good as your chicken. Just give it a try. To change the world we should start with ourselves. If you find it hard to become vegan, go with small steps. Start with eliminating meat first, follow your senses and listen to yourself, how does it feel. How does it feel knowing that nobody had to die for your meal. That your meal still tastes delicious and even better. That your body receives all nutrients and thankful to you because you stopped eating corpses.
