When we realized that our layover back from Europe was going to be in Denver, we found a way to extend our trip a day to visit the two temples in Colorado. We rented a car and drove the hour or so to visit this temple in Fort Collins. It’s rare when we go to two temples in one day, and we loved them both!! Anyone from Colorado around here?

Now we will be in Utah for about a month, working on projects, spending time with family, saving money and planning our next trip. Any guesses as to where we want to go next?
We've got something exciting to share!!! Baby Ashcroft number 3 is joining our family late October

We feel so blessed that Heavenly Father would send another child to our family. We're also very aware that some of our friends and family have been wanting this same blessing for a long time but haven't gotten it yet.

For those of you who are hoping and praying for a baby, know that you're in my prayers and I'm cheering for you everyday .

A dress I made from scratch for the Holidays last year. I already have a design in my mind for a Holiday dress this year, it’ll be worth the wait.

A question for the sewists out there, which do you find more difficult? Refashioning or making from scratch? I personally find making from scratch so much harder because with refashioning, I’m tweaking it while trying to keep the original darts, button holes, zippers, and the pockets. But I’ve run into many whom are in awe at what I do and say they can’t do what I do but to them I say, I’m in awe at what they do and can’t do what they do! We all have different strengths and weaknesses and it’s important to give ourselves credit and the respect for our strengths, and dwell less on our weaknesses.
When we first made the goal to visit every temple in the world together, neither of us went to the temple really often. So the goal wasn’t just about traveling around and seeing a lot of pretty buildings — it was about spending more time serving in the house of the Lord, growing closer as a couple. —
Over the past two months, we didn’t go to the temple as often as we’ve grown accustomed to. And we missed it! Attending the temple has become a big part of our life. It’s not that every single time we go to the temple, we have a life-changing spiritual experience. But whenever we go to the temple, we always feel peace. We’re reminded of our relationship with God and our eternal potential. And we know we’re where the Lord wants us to be. As motivated as we are to reach our goal, in the end it’s how we feel in the temple and what it means to us that makes us keep going back.
