If you watched my stories yesterday, you would've seen that I spent some time journaling and working on identifying my values. With this in mind, I've resolved to start asking myself one important question when faced with a decision: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What is the most valuable thing I could do in this moment? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It could look like getting up, getting out the door, and making your mark at your nearest voting station. It could be closing your laptop and allowing yourself the chance to REST. It could be putting down your phone and spending an hour playing with your kids, rather than scrolling mindlessly through IG. It could be choosing to drink a glass of water, as opposed to yet another cup of coffee (she writes while sipping on a cappuccino...) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Big changes happen as a result of small daily choices, one baby step at a time. Cape, Champagne and Cakes...

Day 4; touchdown in Cape Town and we hit the ground running! Started off with a walk around #vandawaterfront and lunch followed by hike up #lionshead ! I must say the hike to the top was considered VERY challenging for us. It started off easy but there were areas where you have to climb up the side of the mountain. In fact when we were 5 min away from the summit we turned around because it got very steep and we just didn’t feel comfortable especially since we were hitting sunset and would have to hike back down in the dark. ‍♀️ I personally would rate this hike as difficult for us , not for amateurs! Also when researching most people said 45 min to an hour for us it took about 2 ! . .
