One of my biggest creative hurdles is moving from admiring and ‘saving’ precious stash pieces to creating something further with them........a piece of handmade nunofelt combined with a long awaited visit to @kazari_ziguzagu was a case in point......such beautiful vintage kimono remnants and threads.....the fear of making something less than adequate often sabotages the courage to take the first step..... Well I have taken the first step, forged through my fear of dressmaking/sewing machines....I have unpicked, borne many moments of frustration, enjoyed the meditative slow stitch, learned so much in the process....and yes, so very glad to have taken that first step!
