I would run inside the house, slam the door shut, and hide under the bed until the fighting stopped. It felt like every day we could be shot.” . Ishara's family left their home village to flee conflict and settled in a displaced person camp. However, the war seemed to follow them as they were again forced to move a second and third time. With their latest move, they ended up in Mugunga, a village that is home to a Justice Rising school. “I love coming to school every day. I feel safe at school.
