Sometimes I have no desire to leave the house with a baby because it's so in Charlotte, and there's so much that goes into it. Other times, I'm antsy to get out and I know the more I do it, the easier it gets plus it gets her used to being out and I usually feel better breaking up the day. I told myself I'd enjoy lots of lunch dates with her as I know these days are limited, so that's what we're doing today. Sitting here debating going to the @farmersmarket_davidson this morning. It’s raining and doesn’t look like it will stop and we’re cozied up here with coffee and blankets. But this sandwich from @bleubarnbistro is calling my name and I woke up looking forward to this breakfast sandwich. Ugh, first world problems, am I right? What’s on your agenda today?

Happy Friday! With some new faces around here, thought I'd pop in and share some fun facts with you all for #fridayintroductions. Share something about yourself below so I can get to you know you, too! ⤵️⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ 1. I'm a coffee fanatic. I think my love for coffee grew exponentially when I lived in Portland because they have a genuine love for coffee shops (and donuts, and cocktails, and beer, and hiking, and a slower paced life). I just love it there. But now, Charlotte's coffee shop scene is growing like whoa and I'm here for it. My favorite is still an iced lavendar vanilla latte from @defined.coffee ⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ 2. I've run two full marathons and 10 half marathons. I currently have a tentative full on the schedule for this fall (TBD) and I'm signed up for the @rundisney marathon next January. Anyone joining me for that?⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ 3. I don't care what you eat. Yep, I mean that. My clients come to me worried about what they've been eating and I just tell them that their food choices aren't my main concern. I'm more interested in why you ate what you did and how you felt about it. Let's chat!⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ 4. In 2002, I carried the Olympic Torch briefly as part of the 2002 Winter Olympics Torch Relay. The relay was a 65 day run, where different people carried the torch through different cities throughout the US leading to Salt Lake. I carried it down a street in Providence with my dad. It was pretty cool. ⁣⠀ ⁣⠀ 5. I have such fond memories of summer nights growing up, eating out on the deck with my family (it was tough to get all 6 of us together), eating burgers and silverqueen corn from our local farmstand and listening to @jamestaylor_com playing in the background.
