Today you just get to choose to behold His beauty and His glory as you go about whatever you're doing! That is your main "work," which is really no work at all, but a true joy! . In the midst of your work, hard times will come. Maybe you're in the midst of a difficult time right now. Hold on to Jesus, press into prayer, and press on. Do the next faithful thing, letting Jesus set your heart aflame for the next duty, work, or person in front of you to love and care for. Oh my goodness! My husband called me from work the other day to ask if I wanted this bare wood desk. I was like YES!!!!... If you’ll paint it for me. And he did! I am so excited to have a real, permanent Bible desk in place of the folding table I’ve used for years. It worked, it served a purpose and now I’ve got a a sturdier place.
