Need help balancing your handstand? Never fear! This is a job for your inner thighs! ♀️⚡️

⚡️Stand with your back to the wall. Head, back, butt and heels should all be in contact with the wall. Place a block between your inner thighs and give it a good squeeze. Reach your arms overhead with your palms facing in and your thumbs touching the wall. Take a deep inhale and as you exhale draw your abdominals in as you press your back ribs into the wall. Try to eliminate the space between your back and the wall. .

⚡️Stand facing the wall with one foot on the wall. Square your hips. Make sure the supporting leg foot is pointing straight and not out to the side. With the block between your hands reach your arms overhead. Pull your front ribs down. Feel how squeezing your inner thighs As if the block was still between them helps you to square your hips here. Do not bend the standing leg. Switch sides.

⚡️Hop up with the block between your thighs. Straighten your legs, bring your tailbone away from the wall and engage your glutes. Keep one foot on the wall as you scissor the other leg off of the wall continuing to squeeze the block.

⚡️Same as above except now using the squeeze of your inner thighs bring the leg that is on the wall off. This is a tiny movement. .

⚡️Now try it with or without a wall behind you. Jump up and then lower one leg slowly as you squeeze as if you have a block between your inner thighs. You can bend the leg that is in the air a bit of your hamstrings are tight. That will help with the balance. Remember to keep the movement subtle and JUST squeeze your inner thighs strongly together and push through your fingertips to find balance. .

@meliniseri did a throwback to her 2017 one arm diamond leg handstand earlier this week. One of the reasons why I love working with people over years is seeing how their practice changes and how much we have learned along the way. I remember shooting melini's one arm in 2017 and we were both so excited and like, oh that's an epic shot! Now we look at the image and see instability and sloppy alignment Mel has taught me to refine my eye and notice the small details, down to the angle of a foot or an activated quad. Life is just a giant learning process and I thank everyone for teaching me something on every shoot!

I‘ve been wanting to share so much lately but I don’t feel like writing it down. Not only because it takes a lot of time but also because I might not find the right words. And I also didn’t want to talk on my story for like an hour, just because people don’t tend to listen to them - we mostly just like to browse through, now don’t we?!

Yesterday was a lot but I loved it!
It started with letting my hair fixed- or at least fixing the yellow parts as much as possible! I then met @aubrymarie for the first time and I was so relieved to find out that she’s exactly the amazing, funny and warm hearted person she seemed to be. I felt so comfortable with her and we just had the best time. Which is not always the case when you meet someone for the first time (obviously). We later went to the beach to take pictures where I met @nadii_a and although I just met her so briefly, I fell in love with her right away, too! What a warm hearted, kind and beautiful spirit she is! @eatflowlive was so sweet and drove me to the piercing place 30 minutes before it closed and we squeezed in 3 cartilage piercings! I was so freaking excited to finally do this! We ended the day with comforting indian food and as soon as I was sitting on that couch, watching the office (as one does) I just felt a wave of gratitude washing over me. I feel so blessed to meet so many inspiring people and do such crazy and fun things (whilst trying all the good food everrrywhere) I cannot even express how blessed I feel right now! So today I’m closing the chapter “San Diego” and Jules and I are headed to Joshua Tree for a new adventure! ☀️

De cabeça para baixo modificamos nosso ângulo de visão , ampliando nossas percepções externas e internas, estimulando conexões cerebrais. Fisicamente desenvolvem força nos braços, abdomen, músculos das costas, tórax, pescoço, toda a musculatura paravertebral. Dependendo das variações praticadas, muitas outras áreas do corpo podem ser recrutadas em trabalho diferentes como alongamento, flexibilidade, abertura pélvica, retroflexão, etc.., além de aumentar o fluxo de circulação sanguínea e pránica no tórax e na cabeça.

Poses include:
WIDE FORWARD FOLD & SWAY: This stretch feels super good & adding the freestyle movement helps stretch all over the back of the legs!
Hold for 10+ breaths

RAGDOLL: Bend the knees here so the fold happens at the hips & not the low back! Shift weight from one foot to the other to sway gently. Great pose to stretch the neck by nodding yes or no.
Hold for 10+ breaths

FORWARD FOLD & HALFWAY LIFT: The classic hamstring stretch! Bend at the hips and fold. Bend the knees if you need. For the lift, flatten the back by squeezing shoulders onto the back & lengthening from head to tailbone.
Inhale, Lift. Exhale, Fold. Flow between each pose 3-5 times

WALK THE DOG: Start in Downdog & bend one knee at a time, straightening the opposite leg. Notice where you feel tight, and spend time stretching that spot! No need to rush between sides!
Flow back and forth 5-10+ times
