WE ARE PREGNANT & today was one of the nicest days of my life, we had our first scan and we found out from this test called the NIPT, that everything is all ok with the little bun in the oven and that...... ITS A BOY. This came as a huge shock to me, because every dream or thought I have ever had about me with kids has been with me and a little girl. However, after I got over this initial change in orientation haha I was elated. Anyway, so this scan, that I had previously had zero interest in or opinion of, BLEW MY MIND TODAY and its crazy because whenever anyone would pop up a picture or video (like I have shamelessly done here), I would think to myself, ok but its just a blob on a screen, I never really ‘got it’. Yet today this, ‘not a baby person’ right here BLOODY MELTED, I stared at the screen in amazement and just utter joy. I COULD NOT BELIEVE that living thing, with like toes, and arms and bahhh a beautiful little heart beat was something I helped to make and AM GROWING INSIDE OF MY BODY.. The whole thing is just…. magic… it’s wondrous star reaching magic!!!! Anyway… I am sure you can tell I’m on a cloud; this status update is extremely over the top but stuff it. I sooo wanted to share my joy with you all because I know so many of you, the fellow vendors, the brides; past and present and just whoever else is here on Tobi Tobi. I have had to cancel a few weddings around my due date and this has been SO HARD, because as I said to the brides, I actually love this, its not a normal job, its one of those dream jobs and singing brides down the aisle fills me up with sooooo much joy - if your one of the brides I’m so sorry once again.
