Ramadan Day 3; D R I N K W A T E R at sahoor time - atleast 3 large glassfuls and the same as soon as you break your fast at Iftar. I don't feel the need to infuse my water when I drink it, but just to inspire, it's a lovely way to make water that little bit more of an attractive proposition for those who struggle with 'plain' eau! Keep a couple carafes / jugs of cold water, naturally flavoured on the table at #iftar time so everyone can help themselves. You can throw in anything you like, from frozen berries and grapes (that act like ice cubes!) and lychees (I peel and freeze these when I have too many to get through), fresh mint or thyme leaves, sliced apple, oranges, ginger, lemongrass, grapefruit, nectarine, lime or lemon..... I like to shave cucumber and throw in pomegranate seeds too! Whatever you've got, just flavour your water with it for a little alternative refreshment after a long day of #fasting. #intermittentfasting the past 7 days - longest fast 20 hours. Tbh I’ve found this pretty easy, I’ve felt better, less bloated, more energy and it’s stopped me eating snacks and treats in an evening. Hoping for decent results on the black box in the morning, but not too concerned over the numbers, my clothes feel looser and I’m listening to my body more about what it needs. Today I had 1 pound of London broil, 3 eggs, and 13 ounces of Raw milk not pictured. If you rotate your meat sources then you won’t have to worry to much about how much fat you are getting because it will naturally take care of itself. For example yesterday I had a ribeye with eggs which was 130g of fat. Today was the London broil with eggs and that led to only 62g of fat. Every week a different cut of meat will be on sale leading to some weeks being higher fat than others and I think the cycling of fat is a good thing.

To some this is simply an egg sandwich and a bag of crisps but to me who hasn't eaten since 10pm last night this is the most delicious plate of food I have seen! Got to lose weight and trying some fasting as an option, I am naturally unhungry first thing so as long as I am getting calories and enough protein when I do eat I am happy to try it out!
