I was asked at the first @dieseldrags by @hfox86 if we would join them for the opening ceremonies at the @firepunkdiesel #outlawdieselrevenge2019 i said certainly! Would be honored. We went up there, met up with great friends, hung out, raced a little. But then came the open ceremonies. @bigdon_racetalk asked me for notes on #22kill he glanced over them, he asked me some questions. Then he did what he does. He started the opening ceremonies, he talked about veterans and suicide.. and then he walked over to me.. after i told him i didn’t want to talk on the mic. I had no idea what to say- but it came out naturally. I spoke about why we do what we do, why we come out, why we drive across the country to events like this one. To give vets an avenue to open up to us. We prayed, and then listened to an awesome group sing the national anthem. I got in the truck and drove down the track while flying the nations and my Corps Colors. I felt like a ton of bricks hit me, not sure why my emotions got to me. I felt like my brothers were there with me. Those who lost to their demons. I still can’t explain what i actually felt.. but it hit me hard. If i drove past you without stopping you know why. Thank you guys for having us and inviting us to yalls event. Means so much for y’all to allow us to help spread awareness of an issue swept under the rug. My friend @jacob_schick says it the best. Real situations expose the fake people in your life.... If you ever want to know who’s in your circle... stop drinking or do something that is bettering yourself and see who’s left. You can count them on 1 hand. There is no medicine the VA can give you that makes you love life again! You have to change, you have to want it, you have to chase it, you have to own it! I was challenged by @fit_dad_of_twins to do the #22KILL #22pushupchallenge and I gladly accepted (thank you my brother ) Now I’m challenging @chef_ronaldo_ to get to it. #dale . If you don’t know, this campaign is to promote veteran suicide awareness. Some studies show that on average 22 veterans commit suicide a day (thus the number in the challenge). It doesn’t matter if that is the number or not. The fact of the matter is that there is a number. Help spread this campaign and honor our veterans, those in active duty and those who will serve. Think about what makes you happy and go fucking do that. . For a long time I was doing stuff that I thought I was supposed to do because of social norms and other people’s opinions... . Once I found out what made me happy I didn’t even realize I stopped listening to other people. . That was probably the biggest noticeable change that happened when I started to do what makes me happy. . That’s why I’m telling you to stop listening to others about what makes YOU happy. . They can’t tell you that, only you can. . So listen to the emotions you have when you do something and if it’s rewarding and gives you value, THEN DO IT!! . Everyone is different. Some things make people happy that other people hate... like running for most Marines. . I will say that people hate shit they aren’t good at and once they break the barrier of being decent at something they start to like it more BUT who gives a shit what other people like. . You do you. . Shut up and get it done!!

Über 30 #Motorradclubs und #Veteranen-Verbände aus Deutschland, Frankreich, Großbritannien, Schweden, Norwegen, Polen usw. haben an einer #Sternfahrt durch die Hauptstadt teilgenommen (swipe) und sich danach am #Ehrenmal der #Bundeswehr im Bundesministerium der Verteidigung eingefunden.
