Loving this thought provoking art installation! #Repost @walkerwrightartist ・・・ So this is the full OUR ILLNESS artwork with not just the vomit that was created out of beach found plastic and was used in the concept photos for this project but also now a driftwood human skeleton that was originally created to be vomiting the plastic. . So I displayed the full piece in Aberystwyth on the seafront, even though it was a pain in the ass to carry and I was a little nervous I really enjoyed sharing the piece with my community. I met a load of people that appreciated the artwork and the message behind it but most of all it meant a lot to me that people was actually seeing some of my work for the first time on display other than viewing it in a social media posted photo. . This piece of artwork was originally created because I feel that being an artist has given me a platform and for a very long time I felt like I wanted to voice my opinion on a few subjects that bother me about our society, and plastic waste bothers me for lots of reason what I have written about and you can read on my www.facebook.com/walkerwrightartist . OUR ILLNESS is blatant account of my understanding on this subject, there is a sickness in our culture where we feel we can trash our environment and there be no devastating consequences, I hope if anything this artwork serves as a reminder of the end and only result of this madness. .
