Come see Jaimie Goodwin at Accelerate Acro Convention! Jaimie grew up training under @denisewalldance . She has gone on to perform on @danceonfox both as a contestant and an Allstar. She has also appeared in commercials, movies, and television shows including @dancingabc , @theellenshow , Glee, Rock of Ages, High School Musical 3, Mad Men, Two and A Half Men, and many more. She’s enjoyed making appearances on the Emmy’s, The Academy Awards, the Billboard Music Awards, and The American Music Awards as well as working with several artists such as Carrie Underwood, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Kylie Minogue, and Miley Cyrus. She has also enjoyed the theatrical world of touring with @traviswall @shapingsoundco . When she’s not performing she nurtures her passion to share through teaching. Jaimie has choreographed for and taught dancers all over the world through conventions, at studios, and at universities. Michael Dameski is a world renowned Australian dancer known for his dedication and passion for the performing arts, his career began at the age of 13 where he starred as Billy in ‘Billy Elliot the musical’ on Broadway. From getting a taste of the Lime light at such a young age Michael has continued to grace many stages including Australias ‘So you think you can dance’ @sytycdau After being crowned Australia’s favorite dancer Michael embarked on a journey to Los Angeles. Train with Vicki at Accelerate! Vicki Fletcher was born and currently lives in Ontario Canada and has been dancing since the age of 2. She soon realized that her love for all forms of dance was something she wanted to share with others through teaching. She began teaching at the age of 17 and has been doing it ever since. Vicki brings 25 years of teaching experience in jazz,tap,acro,lyrical, stretch and conditioning and musical theatre. Vicki graduated from Dance Masters of America's Teacher's Training School at Kent State University and the University of New York in Buffalo and is also certified through the Ontario's Gymnastics Federation. Vicki has adjudicated dance competitions and has taught workshops at many studios in Canada. She feels it is very important to stay current with your training so attends workshops and conventions  whenever she can. She has won many awards for her creative and innovative choreography and her students have won numerous awards,scholarships and titles. Many have gone on to pursue their own careers in dance whether it be performing in companies or on cruise ships, studying dance in University and becoming teachers themselves. Through her years of teaching Vicki has become more and more passionate  towards the acro aspect of dance and has had great success in building a strong acro studio. This love for acro and the desire to see it done safely by teachers and students is what makes being a part of Acrobatic Arts so exciting for her. Trish has studied various dance disciplines as well as competitive artistic gymnastics. She began her training as a competitive gymnast and became well-established as a coach and judge for the Ontario Gymnastics Federation. Having this gymnastic background, Trish’s dance teaching and choreography is recognized for its athleticism and acrobatics throughout North America. Trish is the founder and artistic director of the Rythum Plus Dance Company which is celebrating 27 years in Stoney Creek, ON. Her dancers have attained a high level of prestige on the competitive dance circuit including holding national titles for Dance Masters of America and American Dance Awards. Some of these titles include Miss Dance of America, Teen Miss Dance of America, Teen Mister Dance of America, Junior Mister Dance of America, and Junior Miss Dance of America. Her students have seen much professional success performing on cruise ships, stage, television, and film as dancers, actors, singers, and circus artists.  Trish’s dancers and choreography were featured in Season 6 of the Family Channel’s hit TV show, The Next Step and Season 3 of CHCH’s Tiny Talent Time. Most recently, her students were invited to perform alongside the Mini Pop Kids at one of their “Take Flight Tour” locations. Trish has also appeared online as a guest teacher for CLI Studios on multiple occasions. Being enthusiastic about dance education, Trish holds a number of certifications with several organizations. As a member of Dance Masters of Canada Chapter #38, she is a certified acrobatics examiner and is currently president of the chapter.  Also a course conductor and examiner for Acrobatic Arts, Trish has helped develop the choreography for the new pin program. Robin Szuch spent almost 20 years as a dancer, training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and contemporary dance.  Armed with those of years dance training, and a degree in Fine Arts in Drama and Dance, Robin moved to Toronto to pursue her love of theatre and dance.  While working as a dancer and actor and continuing her professional training, Robin found the element of artistry she was looking for to complete her artistic vision, Aerial.  Taking the plunge with fellow artist Stacy Clark, High Strung aerial dance was born and the two spent the next 10 years training, performing, coaching and creating dance, circus and aerial dance works around the globe. After 10 successful years on the road High Strung aerial dance officially retired and Robin opened a full time training, coaching and creation studio, Spectacle Blue.  Having made the full time transition from choreographer/performer to choreographer/coach Robin had time to look at her world, the world of Aerial Dance, only to discover a gap in formal training methodologies for this exciting genre.  And so began the diligent work to create a solid, safety conscious syllabus of training to help young dancers delve into the world of Aerial Dance and so was created the Spectacle Blue Aerial Dance Syllabus. @spectacleblue #acroarts #acrobaticarts #aerial #aerialdance #accelerateacroconvention

Come see Sarah at Accelerate! Calgary, Alberta Nov. 15-17 As a child Sarah trained in gymnastics and dance and later fell into competitive rock climbing. The combination of these unique skills lead her to a stunt and body double career in the Vancouver film scene. Throughout her professional career Sarah studied human performance and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Kinesiology. After graduation Sarah spent her days as a rehabilitation specialist in a Physiotherapy clinic, designing return to training programs for injured athletes. At night she coached women’s artistic gymnastics and lead acrobatics programs at dance studios in British Columbia. Sarah later completed a second degree in Education earning a ministry of Education - BC Teachers Certificate, in the specialty of performing arts. In 2008 she completed her Masters degree in Coaching Sciences from the University of Victoria where she researched in the field of athletic motor development. Sarah is certified with the Canadian Dance Teachers Association @cdtanational (CDTA) in acrobatics and the national coaching certification program (NCCP - level three) in women’s artistic gymnastics. Sarah has worked with the National Sport Institute and is module three certified with Acrobatic Arts where she is a course conductor, facilitator and examiner. Sarah is currently working on double doctorate in leadership education and sports medicine and is a guest lecturer at various universities. She can be seen live from Los Angeles with @clistudios and is featured as a guest blogger in various dance magazines. Can’t wait to see Meaghan Wegg at Accelerate! ‍♀️ Meaghan grew up dancing in her sister’s dancing studio where she studied Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop and Acro.  In 2001, Meaghan was accepted in to L’Ecole Nationale de Cirque in Montreal where she specialized in aerial hoop and contortion with additional training in Ballet, Contemporary and Modern. Upon graduation in 2005, Meaghan performed professionally as a principal dancer in many roles, including the cast of ‘Tomorrow’ (Pigeons, International) and the cast of ‘Loft’ (Seven Fingers). From 2009 – 2012, Meaghan performed on tour globally with Cirque Du Soleil’s ‘Quidam’ as a feature aerialist. Following an extremely successful performance career, Meaghan shifted her focus to coaching.  In 2013 Meaghan graduated with a diploma from L’Ecole Nationale de Cirque @ecolenationaledecirquemtl (Montreal, Canada) with a major in Research of Acrobatics, and a minor in hand to hand partnering for dancers. Currently, she is recommended by @cirquedusoleil as a private acrobatic coach and attracts students from around the world with a focus on career development, choreography and professional stage preparation.  Meaghan is the Division Manager of Acrobatic Arts Australia and New Zealand!
