A month ago I stopped turning on my heater: Not a big deal for many - and definitely a privilege in the first place - but for me, this is a big deal. I am a naturally cold person and the Scottish housing insulation doesn’t help > as it’s practically non-existing (‘olive oil froze in our cupboard’ kinda cold) Now I try to just wear extra layers, drink lots of warm tea, spend more time in the living room (warmer room) or at the lib (best incentive to go?). I’ll turn the heating on sporadically if it gets too cold - but for now being conscious of my energy consumption feels great

That’s only a starter list. . ➡️‼️Palm Oil’s use on this vast global scale has directly lead to the burning in Borneo and Sumatra of utterly unique tropical forests (the ONLY HOME OF THE WONDERFUL ORANGUTAN, THE SUMATRAN RHINO, ELEPHANT, TIGER, SUN BEAR AND CLOUDED LEOPARD)‼️ These forests hold the greatest wonders of bio-diversity that exists - the stunning jewel is the LEUSER ECOSYSTEM in Sumatra. . WHAT HAS MANKIND ALLOWED TO HAPPEN: WE BURN AND DESTROY IT through huge devastating destructive fires which burn the peat based tropical forests which also hold up to 20% of all locked CO2 deposits on this planet. . Why❓To grow Palm Oil palms in a mono culture nightmare - humanity truly is perverse in why it is destroying this planet. . So please ask yourself - are a bag of crap snack food Nachos containing Palm Oil which lengthens shelf life (likely produced by Pepsi-Co ) worth it in any way at all❓❓ . Then see that each and every one of us DOES HAVE CHOICES IF WE TRULY CARE - POWERFUL CHOICES TOGETHER WHEN WE CHOOSE WHAT TO BUY OR NOT TO BUY. .
