This was in my bag from a recent trip to China, a half full/empty bottle of water. I was attracted to the Chinese labeling on the back side and I liked the industrial design of the bottle, it spoke to me as a photo opp. The Mandarin characters and bottle shape weren't quite enough to make it something “more". It has water in it, and I like doing splash pictures - methodical problem solving for a controlled effect or discovering a happy accident. Tried a few things, and while the splash thing was working - looked like pictures I’ve already seen and done, was more about the splash than the bottle. When I made it more about the bottle containing the energy creating the splash, felt better and landed here.
