Tag someone you would get up for sunrise and stay up till sunset 3 days in a row just to get one good shot from the platinum suites in Kuala Lumpur. . Im pretty sure that's the definition of true love.❤️. . Kuala Lumpur was such an amazing city.  So much more modern than we had expected and so unique in it's architecture and design.  Cultural, economical, diverse, and totally accessable.  As you all probably know, we do our best to travel on a tight budget and stretch it as far as we can by making a lot of "creature comfort" sacrifices, but in KL we had to splurge on the Platinum Suites.  Arguably overdone across the gram, but still a buck list shot nonetheless. . . You can actually get a great deal at what they call The Face, Platinum Suites if you use Airbnb.  The prices are half to a quarter of what the hotel charges and from what we can tell, you get a lot more bang for your buck...larger rooms, more amenities, less costs in tourist taxes, and late night mini bar splurges.  You get the same access to the rooftop pool and gym as the hotel guests and really the only difference was that we had to use our own towels at the pool. . Sometimes you don't need the Eiffel Tower, or Machu Picchu, or the Roman Colosseum to capture a great image.  All you need is 4 palms, white sand, blue skies and the one you love. ☀️ That day, our mission, should we chose to accept it, was to find the Dusky Leaf monkey at all cost.  And we did...accept it.  We learned that if you go to a small beach on the west side of Langkawi, Malaysia called Kok beach you might get a chance to see the amazing black, wide eyed primates swinging around in the trees.  And if you're super lucky you may get to see a mother carrying her bright yellow baby around the tribe. Well, we walked around Kok beach for about 2 hours and found some rocks, some sticks, and a resort, which we of course snuck into.  We walked around the resort for a while snapping some shots and enjoyed the pool area and decided to call it a wrap and head home to get ready for our next mission...whatever that might have been.  As we were walking back to our scooter, right along the road, out of the corner of our eye we saw a branch move, then move some more, then another, and another violently swinging to and fro.  We had found the mother load! There must have been over 100 Dusky Leaf monkeys hanging about, playing in the trees, caring for their babies and snacking on various vegetation.  Having planned for the trip we whipped out our bunch tiny bananas and tried to coax them into coming closer.  Well, they weren't having it...except one.  And that was all we needed.  He hung around for a good half hour taking doses of potassium from us one after the other.  Got some amazing pictures, memories and I think Ethan Hunt would have been proud of us. My days in Sabah Malaysia 回來台北很多天了都還沒把沙巴的影片剪好 2019的前三個月都在或出差或旅行 現在終於回來 太享受流浪後的回家：） 早上有男友牌咖啡還有男友牌司機送我去公司 下班後和約了幾個月的好友們聚會 晚上還能回到自己的大床和浴缸這樣的日子真的太美好了 回歸正題 這次之所以選擇沙巴是因為太臨時決定 很多島嶼連假的機票已經賣完了 當時請小助理幫我找一個目的地只有兩個條件 一是海島（受夠冬天了） 二是直飛（因為同行有小朋友） 就這樣我們來到了沙巴 這次的飯店是 @nexusresort 主要還是因為有小朋友一起同行所以這間飯店蠻方便的 有小朋友的遊樂室（有幫忙照顧小孩的工作人員）；游泳池；私人沙灘；森林探險瑜伽課等等 比較適合一大家族或好友們一起旅行的熱鬧地方 _ #valentinegoestomalaysia #amazingmalaysia #sunsetbeauty #valentineinparis #malaysia #longweekend #nexusresort #happyday #sunday #sunny #sunset #beachlife #love #new #instagram #video #vlog #lastweek
