⁣Hi all!! Since there are quite a few new followers on here, I figured I would do a brief introductory post by sharing a few fun facts about me (mostly horse related!) ⠀ ⠀ So here it is!! 10 random/fun facts:⠀ ⠀ ⭐I was born in France, which is where I am originally from ⠀ ⠀ ⭐I have lived, studied and/or worked in 9 different countries and traveled to 40+ ... my mission has always been to ride horses in as many places as possible!! ⠀ ⠀ ⭐I had my first horse (Arabian mare) at 8 years old when I was living in Egypt with my parents and older brother (technically we were leasing her, but I liked to call her mine )⠀ ⠀ ⭐I spent a few years growing up in NYC. With no cars and no stables around...Needless to say I was missing horses a lot ⠀ ⠀ ⭐I moved to the south of Spain in 2011 after studying for my Bachelor’s degree in biology in Cold Canada, and one of my first jobs after graduation was to give horseriding lessons to little kids in a small town in the South of Spain . That’s where I learned Spanish and fell in love with this country!⠀ ⠀ ⭐I’m a total introvert and most people don’t realize it !!⠀ ⠀ ⭐When I wasn’t working with horses, I worked in healthcare consulting and supply chain risk management. I recently moved to Canada to be with my husband.⠀ ⠀ ⭐My favorite breed is the Andalusian/P.R.E horse. Arabians are a close second. Oh and Friesans...⠀ ⠀ ⭐I’m allergic to horses! I know, weird right? I am constantly sneezing, itchy, eyes watery. Luckily, anti-histamines help quite a bit but they don’t always work for all the symptoms! Regardless, this has never stopped me from pursuing my passion ⠀ ⠀ ⭐Now a slightly embarrassing one: I once owned a 3 year old, unbroken Andalusian stallion, and in retrospect having bought him was one of the biggest mistake I have ever made. I definitely lacked the knowledge, experience, and support necessary to handle him, which almost cost me my life a couple times. EQUESTRIAN WATER EQUICIZER!!This has been one of the coolest training tools I have ever used. The range of motion you are able to achieve in the shoulders, hocks, and stifles is amazing and I have seen such a difference in just two weeks. It is almost the same as working over poles but just more consistent. It was a bit of a challenge doing it alone the first couple times but I figured it out! What is your favorite training tool and have you ever tried one of these?! Much love ❤️❤️

He’s just so friken sweet

The only time you should ever look back, is to see how far you’ve come • Last picture from this series already and it was pretty hard to pick. I could’ve gone for a better looking picture where spekkie was more correct, but then again, this is also the real us. This picture was shot 27 April 2018 so more then a year ago #throwbackthursday. In that time I really felt like spekkie was looking super developed already which is why I decided to start him under the saddle a few weeks before. And although looking back at it, it would’ve been better to wait a few more months, we both had so much fun as you can see.
