For example, #fruits contain the carbohydrate fructose and #glucose, #dairy has lactose, a potato has #starch, and the list goes on. Carbohydrates are broken down by the body into simple sugars. These sugars circulate in the bloodstream and are used by the body’s cells for energy. . The brain also uses one of these simple sugars (glucose) as its primary #energy source. This is why people also need carbohydrates to stay alert and active throughout the day. . Which foods contain carbohydrate? Many foods contain carbohydrates, however, some foods are more nutrient-rich than others. . Since carbohydrates are all treated in the same way by the body, it is important to choose carbohydrate foods that also CONTAIN OTHER NUTRIENTS . Heutzutage hat jeder eine Meinung zu Ernährung. Je nachdem wem man zuhört, ist entweder gerade Spirulina, Chiasamen, Sellerie oder Kaffee mit Butter drin der heilige Gral der Ernährung. Der dich heilt. Der dich säubert. Ich kann es nicht mehr hören. Jeder darf eine Meinung haben. Aber das ist eben nicht gleichzusetzen mit qualifizierten Ernährungsempfehlungen. Ich weiß, ich wiederhole mich, aber solange ich immer wieder Nachrichten bekomme von total verunsicherten Menschen, die sich extremen Diäten ausgesetzt haben, weil sie auf die falschen Personen vertraut haben, und sich nun gesundheitlich super schlecht fühlen, solange werde ich es immer und immer wieder betonen: Ernährung und Gesundheit ist so f***ing komplex, dass es nie nie nie so einfache Lösungen gibt wie die oben genannten, die für alle Menschen funktionieren. Ein einziges Lebensmittel, was du zur dir nimmst, wird außerdem niemals so wichtig sein, wie die Gesamtheit deiner Ernährung. Mein Versprechen an euch bleibt, dass es hier keinen Bullshit geben wird. Es ist definitiv der härtere Weg. Ganz ehrlich. Gerade die mit extremen Meinungen zu Ernährung ziehen sehr viel mehr Aufmerksamkeit auf sich. Die Wahrheit ist eben sehr viel komplexer und die wollen die meisten nicht hören.
