Oggi ho deciso di farvi un regalo e svelarvi il nome di uno dei miei piccoli angoli di Paradiso dove non esiste altro che il buon cibo, vino e tanto tanto relax. Lo so Ogni tanto sono antipatica e nelle stories non svelo i nomi di questi posticini in cui vado ma lo faccio solo per tutelare la loro bellezza che consiste proprio in questo, essere posti meravigliosamente incantanti e specialmente, sconosciuti al mondo intero. Perché si, siamo tutti stufi di andare nei soliti posti che hanno solo il nome e poca sostanza ed è proprio da qui che è nata la mia passione per quelle che io chiamo le piccole “chicche” o meglio ancora, veri e propri angoli di paradiso! Penso che siano quei posticini che è bello scoprire su consiglio di una persona fidata, che ti incantano appena arrivi per l’atmosfera di pace, che ti danno quella sensazione di entrare in “rifugio esclusivo”... Grapefruit is life, as a kid I drank the juice by the liter (I wish I was joking). Nowadays I try to be a bit more balanced about it (and I know I'm not the only one on here, *cough* @barfaith *cough*) though whenever I see 'Grapefruit' or 'Pamplemousse' (en Français) on a label I can't stop my tastebuds from tingling. The excitement when I got my hands on a bottle of Pampelle's Ruby Grapefruit Aperitif could be described as... 'Matthias, stop staring and wipe that drool from your bottom lip' Sorry not sorry. . Pampelle is created with handpicked Corsican Ruby Red grapefruits at its foundations. They're macerated, the peels are distilled and the juice reduced. To give more depth to the end result, extracts of Yuzu, Bitter Orange and Citron are added, as well as... (Please, be still my bitter-loving heart ) Cinchona Bark and Gentian Root!
