✈️In my stories, I shared how we took our car seat on the plane for our 14-hour flight and that has probably been the most popular story to date! . So many of you guys had no idea that it's allowed or have even thought to do so (I didn't either until recently) And those of you who did, LOVED that I shared this to help raise awareness . After MUCH back and forth, we decided to take it with us bc we already knew how well C does on road trips and I just liked the idea that he'd be nice and snug and safer! Now, we also knew the risks (like what if he didn't want to sit on it!) that came with our decision but decided to take the plunge any way. And it ended up being the best decision! Check out “travel” in highlights . What we didn't expect was the extreme lack of knowledge and support from the flight attendants. We transferred flights from American Airlines to Korean Air and in both instances, they kept telling us to check in the car seat at the gate. I told them we checked with TSA guidelines and knew that our car seat was approved to take on flight and they still fought us. They had to make calls to get someone from upper management to verify which took forever . Our experience with Korean Air ended up being fine, but the AA agents were extremely rude and didn't even let my husband on board early to set up the car seat and so forth. It was quite an ordeal and the whole time we kept saying perhaps this was a bad idea. Maybe we should just check it in . But I'm glad we held our ground bc even in spite of all the trouble, we believe it was so worth it! C did so well sitting on it through the entire flight. I think it gave him a sense of familiarity and security . ✅For our trip back, this is what we're going to do - Print out the TSA guideline! And we will never take AA again . ❤️ I wanted to share this so that if you weren't aware that you could take a car seat, now you know!
