The best advice I have received as a twin mom is to not let other people’s opinions bother you. Most people have just one baby at a time. Everything is different with twins though. The pregnancy is different. Life is different. Postpartum is different. Never feel like a bad parent because you aren’t doing what parents of singletons are (whatever that may be)... I felt like there was this rule that my babies needed to be sleeping in their own room by now. That’s what we’re supposed to be doing, right? After all, they’re almost 6 months old, and so many people have their babies out of their rooms at this point... but it took me 4 months alone just to start sleeping with the lights off again. Maybe it’s part of this PPD journey that I have been working through, or maybe it’s just who I am in motherhood, but I know I’m not ready. And I’ve learned that it’s so important not to let other people’s opinions of what I am “supposed to” do in motherhood override my own comfort. That was a big mistake I made in the newborn days, I put myself in unhealthy, anxiety inducing situations that I certainly was not ready for just to appease the people around me, and put on this show that I was taking to motherhood with this facade of grace that I so desperately felt the need to portray. I wanted it to seem like I had it all under control. Fast forward to this week, and I still felt this nagging pressure to place my emotions on some fictional timeline that said I should be okay with this by now. I should be able to be away from them. We attempted a night in the nursery, and it was awful. I spent the night jumping out of bed more times than I can count (I literally lost count of how many times I had gotten out of bed that night somewhere in the 40s). My anxiety was terrible. I wasn’t okay. The next morning, we moved their cribs into our room, and constructed a space that has become half master bedroom, half nursery. And it’s been the best decision for us. I need to stay mindful of that. The choices that are best for us might not be what the world tells us they should be, and that’s okay. This isn’t forever. I will enjoy the now, with my babies sleeping beside us, peacefully

Про кроватки часть 2 (#выборкроватки_angeldream ) ⠀ К моменту моей второй беременности уже начали появляться овальные кроватки и конечно же я мечтала о такой Плюсом в то время мы уже начали заниматься пошивом бортиков и я понимала как здорово будет снимать наши комплекты именно в ней, так кроватка бы выполняла сразу много функций. Я поехала выбирать её в детский торговый центр и сразу влюбилась в овальную модель фирмы Можга (Паулина), огромным плюсом было то, что её первой трансформацией был сразу размер 92 на 65 см , сын проспал в ней почти до года и выглядела она ну очень мило , плюс маятник (порой очень выручал), ещё мне понравилось, что она достаточно компактна (ширина 65 см) так как первое время кроватка стояла в нашей спальне. ⠀ Спустя 3 года использования (плюс почти год мы снимали в ней комплекты) она в идеальном состоянии, на прошлой неделе перевезла её в мастерскую, пополнила нашу коллекцию кроваток .
