This is my first trip away from the baby. It's been great to have one on one time with my big girl but I miss my little nugget so much.  This little one refused a bottle for the first 7 months of her life.  This meant we were exclusively breastfeeding and she basically never left my side.  As a working mom, this was definitely tough on me as I had to take her to every meeting, every photoshoot, every errand.  I would even be nursing her while on conference calls! I could never leave her side for more than an hour (two hours was pushing it). The few times that we did, daddy had to deal with the most fussy, screaming, crying baby which in turn made me feel awful for leaving her. Now that she's taking the bottle, it's made my life so much easier and honestly, I'm happier, but I'm also grateful that we got to have that experience together. Edie now loves the bottle, loves to eat and is so happy when others help feed her too!  I know I'm not the only one, as I have gotten so many questions from those of you that have followed our journey on my stories about the bottle feeding issue. I do plan on writing a blog post about how we ended up getting Edie to take the bottle.  When we were in the thick of it and I so desperately needed a solution, I googled and read every single article on how to get your baby to take a bottle. Most were geared towards newborns and for older babies they basically said "if they don't get it before 6 months, it won't happen" Well, I'm here to tell you that it CAN happen and this is from a baby that screamed at every single bottle and never took one sip out of a bottle until she was 7 months old! #38weekspregnant & I’ve officially STARTED to pack hospital bags. I did a little update on my story earlier about my dr appointment yesterday...as of right now baby girl is nice & cozy in there! For now I’m just enjoying our last few days (or weeks ) as a family of three. ❤️
