Some wonderful feel good news for you all today from an amazing patient I helped to treat, who is currently 21 weeks pregnant with this gorgeous little miracle on the way Having faced previous heartache, and after correcting some thyroid issues as well as testing for the MTHFR mutation and introducing some blood thinners for this (I'll be discussing this in a forthcoming video soon), this patient finally had the news she'd been waiting for and I can't even begin to express how happy that made our whole team But aside from the medical intervention and IVF we performed, I truly believe it was this patient's approach to lifestyle which made all the difference. She's a big fan of yoga and clean living, as am I, the importance of which I discuss a lot in The Conception Plan. Being mindful of what we eat and how we exercise is crucial no matter whether you're having treatment or trying naturally to have a baby. What also stood out with her was her spiritual approach to fertility and willingness to address any associated karma and emotions that were affecting her. Again, this is a major pillar we don't pay enough attention to and something that our patients need recognition and support over, as this can often be the toughest part of the fertility journey. So as we celebrate #selflove this week, remember that if you're trying to conceive, take the time to be compassionate with yourself and this incredible body that is doing its best for you. But as with any obstacle, sometimes we need to dig deeper to understand what lies at the root, and those conversations with ourselves and the willingness to face our own truth can be incredibly difficult, let alone revealing it to anyone else. But supportive treatment and counselling can really help, so never be afraid to reach out Sometimes the big turning point comes when we chose to be kind with ourselves and honour our mind, body and spirit with the nourishment and compassion it deserves. I hope this post, like others I've shared before, helps to give you that encouragement and hope you may so desperately be looking for. With love ❤️

Just wanted to say thank you for all of the lovely messages about our news of baby number two. It feels a little strange speaking about it online after keeping quiet for eight weeks but I’m so glad I finally can! Although I don’t think it’s quite sunk in that by Christmas we’ll have two children, and also that they’ll aged fourteen months apart. How much fun is this little one having bouncing up and down in mum's tum today @11 weeks! Just amazing!

Ah it’s a bit of a milestone all the same! ❤️ Amelia is absolutely fascinated by all things baby and checks in first thing every morning on how ‘show me how baby is growing’ making me sit up so she can see a bump! She also told me I’m “the best baby grower in the world” , so that’s official right!? . Nathan switches between kissing my belly and today surprising me by telling me there’s a baby in the pics to announcing, “baby is all gone” ‍♀️ . But honestly the relief today is unreal! Maybe we really are getting our rainbow baby
