Hi there, we’re beginning a series of care tips for maintaining your bags and small leather goods in great condition! . Tip No.1: Now you may think this is a no brainer but the first advice we have for you is to USE your handbags. ROTATE them. Pic 1 shows my current personal collection which I rotate at least on a weekly basis. . One of the worst things to do to an expensive handbag is stashing it at the back of the cupboard and forgetting all about it. That’s when your bags will get super mouldy the next time you see them. You will then have to spend money on demoulding and then the worst thing is when there are unremovable fungus marks. . Do not let your bags get to that stage, use them frequently. If you can’t be bothered to change bags everyday, once a week is pretty good as well. And when it rains, try to use bags which are made of plastic canvas and has minimal natural leather or lambskin. Alternatively black leather bags are also fine. (Pic 3 and 4). But preferably in non absorbent leather such as calfskin or caviar. . Check out the pics on how i use my bags. Pic 2 bags for sunny days, pic 3 bags for light rainy days and Pic 4 for thunderstorm days. . P.S: I SP coat all my bags to protect them from watermarks and stains.
