We have had some questions about how long it should take a child to learn/want to pedal. The answer is...patience. Keep the balance bike and have the pedal bike laying around for them to try when they are ready. My youngest did this for the first 2 months of having a pedal bike but was riding trails 2 days after he decided to pedal thanks to his balance bike skills. #learningtoride

The boys first bikes @kiddimoto I think you can see by their faces that they LOVE them. As do I. Their helmets are awesome too. We’ve been dropped a few times (by the elder generation) and asked where their peddles and stabilisers were. I did quite a lot of research and they reckon it’s so much better for kids to learn to balance earlier, and the transition later will be seamless. The boys are about half an inch too small to really getting their speed up (which I’m secretly pleased about!) Thank you so much @kiddimoto ❤️ #gifted #ad

Zane got his first bike last weekend and I can tell you that looks are deceiving ! I wish I could say Zane loved it (I mean look at that smile).... buuuut Zane was more interested in watching Jason pretend to ride it and just wanted to go to the park ♀️.But at least he put on the helmet without having a tantrum #smallwins We’re thinking of maybe trying a balance bike first so he can gain some confidence on a bike... thoughts? #momshelpingmoms #momadvice #balancebikes #firstbike #summeractivities
