When runner approached Scooby A5225805 in his kennel, he initiated eye contact, neutral tail and body and soft eyes. Once he was removed from his kennel he walked well on leash. When he was introduced to the other dogs at the fence, he remained relaxed. . For info please call

Bad news the people who adopted Shadow yesterday, returned her to the shelter today. The only reason they gave was they didn’t like her. . We hope everyone know that most dogs would need some time to decompress when they leave the shelter. They have feelings and they are not purses or toys. Shadow is a spectacular 3-year-old who was brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center on February 11th by her former owner for no known reason. Weighing 77 lbs, Shadow became an instant volunteer favorite thanks to her sunny disposition and adorable low-rider physique. She walks politely on leash, may be housebroken, and knows how to sit on command. When she met a child walk through the shelter yard, she went immediately into a down position, wagged so sweetly, waiting to be petted. We think she would be an excellent fit for a family. Me again, are you sick of me posting yet? #shelterwinterwarriors We brought soooo much for all the dogs at this shelter thanks to you donations! It was so beautiful to see senior pups get orthopedic beds and little chihuahua puppies who are cold and shaking get a bed, sweater, and a blanket. We got so many donations of brand new sweaters, blankets, washable liners, washable beds, regular beds, toys, treats, food, etc. We are working with @apurposefulrescue so that your donations are tax deductible. @Repost from @mancinettipics - URGENT! I’m freaking out because this poor dog is going to be killed any day now if we can’t help him! Poor Jerry has been stuck at @pitbullsofbaldwinpark in #LA since July and his time is up. He was placed on a 72 hour list to be euthanized and that was LAST WEEK! Not trying to be dramatic but, if we don’t find a foster or adopter for him ASAP he will be killed. This 3 year old #pitbull is chill, laid back and affectionate. Another example of a dog that hasn’t grabbed anyone’s attention stuck in his kennel. Once we brought him into the play area, his true personality came out. All he wanted to do was cuddle and give us kisses. He’d be a great low maintenance dog for someone who’s looking for a pup to just kick it with and relax. PLEASE help us save Jerry’s life.
