Meaning, with little to no government oversight, companies use toxic ingredient that have known carcinogens and endocrine disruptors. • Why does this matter? 3 years. Almost to the day. Recently @beautycounter asked to feature me as part of their F E A R L E S S leader project. ‍♀️ . . Some might think that this means I have RID myself of fear. That I can do things that others can’t because I’m not scared. That I possess something others don’t. . . To that I say: HA! If you only knew! . . F E A R. It lives in me ALWAYS. It was there when I said YES(,holy shit) to becoming a consultant. It was there when I reached out and reached out to everyone I could think of. It’s there when I post photos, it’s there when I send a friendly reminder, it’s there when I ask for help, it’s there when I’m connecting with someone about products and even more so when I ask about the business opportunity. It’s there when I get to sit at the same table as my peers and share ideas, when I train, when I show up for my team, when I attend monthly meetings with @greggrenfrew and @ginamurphybc and 12 other brilliant leaders with businesses astronomically larger than mine not knowing how the heck I can contribute to the brilliance. . . I could go on. But I hope you see the point. The fear is there and it’s real. . . But here’s my practice(because I ain’t perfect all the time): I feel it. I acknowledge the fear, notice where it shows up in my body. And make a decision. I make a decision to do it anyway because if there’s one thing I know to be true, it’s this: out of your comfort zone is where all the MAGIC happens. Stay comfortable and nothing will change. The choice is yours as it is mine. . . The last three years with Beautycounter have been nothing but a complete blessing. I’m READY for another kickass year of growth- in all aspects.

Smiling because I’m not using crappy products on my face or body anymore! . I was walking through Target yesterday and I love that they’re introducing cleaner options for skincare and beauty etc...but what worries me is when I turn over the bottles to look at ingredients...they aren’t always as “safe” as they say. They also may be diluted, so the effectiveness could be lacking too.Be careful of the tricky marketing that’s out there people. Unfortunately, the FDA is not on our side. It’s scary what they can still put in American products, even thought they’ve been banned around the world!! So grateful that I’ve found a company where I 100% trust their screening process. . At @beautycounter , we prohibit the use of 1500+ harmful or potentially harmful ingredients. A lot of those banned ingredients have been linked to cancer and infertility. NO THANK YOU! I want lots of babies one day! . Truthfully, it’s just nice to not have to think about it anymore.
