Ok so let's be real here - most of us hate having our photo taken right?! It's totally normal to feel a little weird with a camera in your face.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ I know personally that I feel so damn awkward in front of the camera and much prefer to hide behind it! ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ So many clients come to me and say 'I don't know what you're going to do on our wedding day because we hate having our photos taken and always look terrible' ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Well, I am here to tell you that DON'T WORRY! No matter how you feel about having your photos taken before your wedding, on the day you won't be thinking twice about it. You are going to be enjoying the day so much, and with a little bit of coaxing (mostly just me goofing and jumping about, probably telling you how epic the light is) you will begin to feel relaxed and just enjoy the moment. ⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Before this wedding, Victoria told me that it would be a struggle to get photos of Peter, because he hated being the center of attention. I can totally relate - I hate it too! But look how happy and relaxed he looks, he nailed it and didn't even know!⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Victoria and Peter's wedding was so perfect, from the styling to the weather! Joel and Nicole and those freshly married feels It was such a joy being there for these two yesterday. I loved seeing them laugh from across the room and catch each other’s eye to make sure the other was sharing in their joy. I loved seeing how much they valued their families in their lives and how this new family of theirs will mirror a relationship even greater than their own. I have photographed at @bendooleyestate many times before, but I have never had a bride with enough guts to get in the rocky little row boat for a paddle around the lake for photos! ⠀⠀ Rachel was 100% committed to the boat adventure, so much so that she had a backup dress and towels with her in case she fell in! ⠀⠀ Luckily none were necessary and it was totally worth the mild anxiety I shared as they rowed around in the perfect afternoon light. ⠀⠀ You totally nailed it guys! And I am really stoked you didn't fall in! ⠀⠀
