What a washout of a day ☹ I had hoped to get to the allotment at some point to check over my blooms but think I'd need a boat! Our Christmas wreath making class. The name is accurate - your really will be making your own wreath - from scratch. Many classes priced the same as ours or higher are not actually wreath making classes but wreath decorating classes, whereby you will attach items to a ready made green foliage ring which the florist has purchased in bulk from the wholesaler. We think that just decorating a wreath is a bit too easy ... we'd rather challenge you a bit and teach you some old school Victorian techniques. This year we will first moss our wreath rings in the traditional way, then we will add foliage, then extras such as colourful bits, pine cones, ribbon. I've had such a fantastic day today delivering a one-to-one with the lovely Lisa. We spent several hours creating and chatting all thing flowery! Not to mention enjoying a yummy lunch with sunshine. I must admit I'm totally in love with the wreaths we created, not only because I love the hot colour selection but the fact that all the flowers and foliage are British grown by yours truly. It's so rewarding being able to watch your flowers grow from tiny seeds to beautiful blooms.
