I absolutely love people. I love engaging people wherever they are in life. When I met Chance, my mindset was, “Give as much as I can so he’ll stay...”⠀ ⠀ I held him all the way down, so much so that I found myself being trafficked by a man that I loved. ⠀ ⠀ That’s an extreme example, (read how it started in my book) but some of y’all are giving your all and forgetting that relationships are about give and take. ⠀ ⠀ You shouldn’t be anyone’s doormat to get them to want you, value you, or decide that you’re wife material. ⠀ ⠀ Stop running around, taking care of him like his mama to keep him ⠀ ⠀ Dating is a time to get to know someone, find out your mutual likes and desires, find out if you’re compatible, find out if you really “like” each other’s company, and slowly but surely, build a future from there where you both pour into a healthy relationship. ⠀ ⠀ If you’ve jumped past dating to “wife-ing” STOP!! ⠀ _____________⠀ ⠀ Drop if you’re dating with purpose!!!
