My golden girls and their competition routine I’ve been still absorbing everything that happened last weekend. I am very proud of all my girls for performing their routines almost flawlessly after a two month break. This is, unfortunatelly, the only performance I recorded during the championship. I don´t even have any photos in my phone as it was really hard and exhausting weekend. I was quite busy because I judged the participants as a “shadow judge” and I also had to prepare my girls for the competition. I‘d like to thank Klaudi’s mom @nadakudelkova for taking my place and standing behind girls during their routines while I was sitting at the judge’s table. 5/6 On the one hand we are grateful for the possibility to perform and take another experience in front of audience. I don’t regret we attended, cause it was “school of life”. The girls also have to learn that life is not fair all the time. But on the other hand we are very disappointed and don’t resonate with this kind of judging, so we are, unfortunately, done with this competition. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t want to put down this competition. I think I now make such a commercial and encourage many aerialists who are aware of not to be so trained on silks to send an application form next year and try their luck with their theme to be liked by judges. I bet there will be ten more at least next year. Crossed my mind it might be a marketing move to let win random participants and show that anybody could win. But we do aerial sport with art and I train my girls to have the best skills on silks and the theme is just bonus for our routines that makes them more beautiful. That’s my philosophy for this sport. I respect that some competitions are focused on art. I don’t judge them, we even sent an application to one abroad. But it’s still a sport that has its physical side that is visible and measurable. 2/6 For your imagination and the defend myself from the image of being aggrieved, I posted some photos from performances of our rivals that beat us. I tried to choose the best and most characteristic moments from the routines. We usually record it to watch it after the awards ceremony to remind ourselves winners’ routines and try to make an objective conclusion and analyze what were her strengthes and why she won to improve our routines for the next time. Those of you who train on silks can see the level of difficulty of the elements and then art side like everybody else on the photos. For you, who are interested more, it’ll be better to come to judgement about how fair the results were by watching the videos on Youtube. It should be available soon. I can honestly say that our level of difficulty and execution was much more higher than the others. And about the art side, simply themes of Amazonic girls and Batman were loved by the judges more than they loved Elsa that was, unfortunatelly, the decesive factor. In Helenka’s category the winner was a girl with a mask on her face that was probably the reason for her winning. To make the situation clear, I couldn’t influence results of my girls, because my points weren’t counted - it’s just for the chief judge who need to check it if they are like the points from the official judges. But they will not be, because I openly say I don’t agree with the assessment at this Championship. The judge team was very different from the European Championship. I didn´t have a lot of time to get know these judges, because I arrived in the middle of the event. But I’m very disappointed about the results and sorry about some situations that arose during the competition. I’m sure that the judges tried to do their best, but no offense they, unfortunatelly, failed that time. Of course, I am very happy we took some places, however it doesn’t change my mind about judges and assessment. The biggest mistake worth mentioning is how a Polish girl beat an outstanding Russian girl whose skills everybody would like to have. I don’t understand how it happened and can’t reconcile myself to this fact and I never will. I’m still convinced that it’s really a big fail of the judge team and @alisavardo should unambiguously take the first place. System of assessement always mostly depends on the chief judge, so it’s always a little different. I saw and participated in a lot of competitions and I can deal with almost everything, however last weekend that was just too much. I received a lot of messages and questions about the results and I openly admit it was unfair in many cases and I don’t support an injustice. Honestly, I would be ashamed to take a medal if I knew that someone deserves it so much more than me, because his routine was so much better. I don´t have a problem admitting it and I respect all people who can do it, too. I suggested to change the rules for assessment to defend fair play and we can also hope for better judges in the next championships.
