Its’s #straturday and we just finished up an incredible Duke custom. This one is a solid Parota body with a roasted flame maple neck, a Pau Ferro fretboard, a Parota trem cover and a Parota pickguard with an epoxy river running through it. It’s fitted with stainless steel frets, mother of pearl fretboard dots, a Wilkinson tremolo, Grover tuners and a one of a kind set of @mcnellypickups . This set has the Nostalgia neck and middle single coils, with open border, white inserts and the brand new Chaplain bridge. The Chaplains are like no other humbucker I’ve played. The dynamic range is huge. The depth of tone paired with clarity almost like a single coil makes for one of the most versatile pickups I’ve come across. The back end of my new wenge 330 style build. People often talk about how thin my builds are, but actually in the centre they are a totally normal depth. I carve deep comfort cuts around the body to allow the guitar to slot into the player, whether they are sitting or standing, and that's what gives my guitars their thin look. You can see the carve quite clearly here of the belly cut, and the upper fret access carve on the lower horn. My guitars are extremely comfortable ❤️
