My phone died before I could show you all of the adventures from yesterday in stories. In addition to Pancake Pantry and The Parthenon, of course, we had to swing through downtown and see the honky tonks and the Ryman. The Grand Ole Opry was paid a visit as well! #IGUPDATE: Story reach is BETTER THAN EVER! | 〰️ while everybody is wasting time complaining about restricted engagement and decreased reach, you're completely missing out on the free organic reach happening on Stories. 〰️ 1️⃣ first of all, post more stories. I haven't changed my story strategy AT ALL recently, but I'm getting about 250% more views on my stories since the latest "algorithm update." so with that said, POST MORE STORIES WHILE THE GETTIN'S GOOD. 〰️ 2️⃣ I've always been a major advocate for location tagging and hashtagging every story you share to increase your chances of reaching new audiences, but things died down on that front over the last 6 months or so, and it became much more difficult to appear on location stories or hashtag stories... UNTIL NOW. 〰️ I've been consistently tagging every story I post since the feature became available so I definitely noticed when the tactic didn't work as well, but I'm happy to say that I have seen a MASSIVE increase in story views from location/hashtags over the last month. 〰️ almost every story I post now appears on the story for whatever location/hashtags I use, and it brings in anywhere from 2-25% more reach from accounts that are not following me yet. 〰️ as I've said, it's one of the few truly free and easy ways to increase your reach, and most ppl shake their heads at it cuz they haven't done the research to understand the value for themselves. 〰️ takeaway: POST MORE STORIES, and when you do, TAG EVERY STORY WITH A LOCATION AND 2-5 HASHTAGS FOR FREE ORGANIC REACH. 〰️ what do you think? are you experiencing the same thing? drop a comment so we all can talk about it together. 〰️ love you.❣️

it's SO easy to forget what really matters... | ♾ 〰️ 365 days of every year are completely out of our control. some days it's sunny. some days it rains. some days our job sucks. some days we land the promotion. some days we can't get out of bed. some days we love ourselves. 〰️ it's so easy to get caught up in the happenings of day to day life. that's why every New Year's Eve we all say, "wow, time really flies, huh?!" 〰️ the truth is, time doesn't fly at all...we just get so entangled with the shit that goes on that we forget to step back and see the big picture for how beautiful it all is. 〰️ the average life expectancy of an American is about 78 years. that's 28,470 days. 〰️ how many "out-of-my-control bad days" have I had? am I letting those days ruin my outlook to the point where I don't even see the "good days" when they come? 〰️ idk about you, but I wanna spend at least some of every one of my days appreciating what I've been blessed with...cuz I've been blessed with a lot. 〰️ now, contrary to popular belief, I am human...which means I will 100% fall short of that goal and will absolutely still say "time flies" on occasion, but I wanna do a better job of being present in the moment...like I was in this picture. 〰️ Megi and I were on that staircase doing a photoshoot with our families standing just out of frame, but it felt to me like it was just us. 〰️ as my business continues to grow and I put more responsibility onto plate, I'm trying to remind myself to enjoy where I'm at and to appreciate those around me by loving them the way that they need to be loved.
