Leaping into the weekend AND summer vacation like Persimmon! Honestly, jumping models are the hardest ones to take photos of, and I actually have been taking this dude out for pictures for the past week at different times, just trying to get a picture I liked. Finally, after lots of different locations, I got one I liked! I felt like this picture was so simple, but I really loved the vibrancy of the colors. I’ve been playing a lot with my camera’s built-in lighting settings, and I really like how my pictures have been turning out! I still fine tune the colors of the picture with my editor, but it is a help with editing! — — School’s out for the summer!! I usually never go the last day, because its only for an hour and a half, but I went today and actually had a decent time. Me, boyfriend, and a group of his friends played an hour long game of Uno, and it was the most intense game of Uno I’ve ever participated in. Let’s just say a card got stuck in the lights hanging from the ceiling... My boyfriend and I went out to breakfast at Denny’s afterwards! So, I got this guy almost a month ago. He was a prize for getting grand champion in the color division at a live show I went to. I told myself I was NOT going to open him, because I wasn’t collecting regular runs anymore. As you can see from this picture, I caved and released the pony. I’m super glad I did! I wasn’t planning on getting the reflection in the photo at first, but then I noticed while readjusting my camera in between splashes that it could be a pretty cool element to add to the picture! I ended up getting some pretty good splashes too! This was probably the shortest splash shoot I’ve done in a while! — — HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY! Bless our troops! My family’s having a little cookout today, and I can’t wait for all the foooddd! Also, tomorrow is the next to last day of school for me! I can’t wait for summer to actually start! And I know once summer starts, BreyerFest is only a short time away! I’m so excited! Another picture of the absolute prettiest boy, Colt! This was a sunrise picture I took while at the beach, and it has a funny-ish story behind it. So, I woke up randomly at 5:30 AM, and I was a little annoyed, because I was on vacation and should have been sleeping in a little. I got up anyways and looked out the window to see a gorgeous sunrise! I grabbed my pony and my camera and was out the door to get some pictures. I get to the beach and was getting some really great pictures. Then, the tide came in and nearly washed him away, so I dove into the ocean to save him. Well, I walked back to the house with some sandy, wet pajamas, but some good pony pictures. I guess it balanced out. — — So, I’m up to my neck in stress at the moment. Vacation was so fun last week, and school this week is not fun at all. I have a good bit of make up work and finals to do. In total, I have 4 finals/tests this week, and they’re all in the same day!! I really cannot wait for this year to end.
